As your therapist, my role is to hold a compassionate and safe space where we can gently address these feelings together. In our work, we’ll focus on building awareness of your triggers and noticing how you respond. This awareness is the first step in understanding the root causes of your emotional reactions.
Using powerful, integrative techniques like EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique), a healing process involving tapping on meridian points, we can release stored trauma and begin to heal. EFT taps into the body's energy system to release blockages, promoting emotional healing and balance.
So often, we try our best to avoid the 'difficult' feelings, thinking that pushing them aside will make them go away. And while this can work for a while, these unresolved emotions don’t disappear - they are stored in the body and can manifest as anxiety, depression or physical discomfort.
